NBA at this point

The NBA has been good so far this year. Here are some things to look for in the remainder of the season:

MVP watch: Right now it looks like it will be either Kevin Durant or LeBron James. They are the top two scorers in the league and James has the edge only by .2 points per game. If the season ended today, the MVP should be Durant. The reason I say this is because LeBron has been scoring like this for a while and the Cavs have always been good. But the Thunder/Sonics have been horrible. Not this year. Durant has stepped up and the Thunder changed from the last place team to 5th place in the east. Durant is more valuable

Playoff race in the east: The last spot is close between The Heat and the Bobcats and no one else is close. I expect the Heat to win this race.

Playoff race in the west: The Blazers and the Spurs hold the two final playoff spots right now. The Hornets and Rockets are 4 games back. I think the Hornets will come back. They've been close for a while, but they have been in this race without their best player. When Chris Paul returns soon, the Hornets will come back.

NBA all star team

I don't agree with some of the players on the NBA all star teams.
One of the things I don't agree with is Allen Iverson starting at PG for the east. He's only played in 24 games and is 16th among guards in the east in points per game (14.6) and he is 20th in assits per game(4.2). I think a better candidate for the staring PG is Rajon Rondo, who has played in 19 more games and has 311 more assists. I also don't agree with Kevin Garnett being the starting PF. Chris Bosh and Josh Smith both are better in points per game, rebounds per game, and blocks per game.
